The short, stout man followed the man's gaze, his eyes lighting up. He quickly released the woman, picked up the beer, and downed it in one gulp. Then, with a loud "thud," he slammed the empty glass onto the glass table and said, "Let's go."

The others understood and all stood up, then walked towards the dance floor. One of them instructed the six girls, "None of you are allowed to leave. We'll be right back."

The five men cleared a path, forcefully pushing aside those blocking their way. Many wanted to curse, but upon seeing these men, they immediately fell silent, too terrified to utter a sound. It was clear these gangsters were somewhat notorious in the area; otherwise, so many people who were jumping around peacefully wouldn't have been so inexplicably pushed aside, leaving them speechless with anger.
