A carefree soldier king in the city

Chapter 610: Artifact of Creation

Chapter 610: Artifact of Creation

Chao Bufan smiled slightly and said, "I want to go out for a walk. Elder Lan, just call me if you need anything, and I'll come right away."

Old Lan nodded and said, "Okay, be careful!"

Chao Bufan smiled slightly and then left.

After Chao Bufan and the others left, Professor Gao Tian came to Elder Lan's side and said, "Elder Lan, I don't know if you've noticed, but this young man named Chao Bufan gives off a rather strange feeling. Not only him, but everyone around him is the same, they're all strange. Look at the way they walk, it feels like a gust of wind."

Upon hearing this, Elder Lan smiled slightly and said, "We are all cultivators. If it's not strange, then it really is strange!"

"Cultivators?" Professor Gao Tian was slightly surprised and said, "You mean those cultivators who cultivate to become immortals?"

Old Lan grunted in agreement.

Professor Gao Tian exclaimed in surprise, "No way! Although we have many talented people in HX, this is the first time I've ever heard of a true cultivator."

“Yes,” Lan sighed, “I have never seen this before either. For nearly thirty years, I have searched all the famous mountains and rivers of HX and traveled all over HX. I have been to Wudang, Shaolin, Huashan, and every sect, but I have always come up empty-handed. Little did I know that these so-called cultivators were actually in the city, or even right next to us.”

Professor Gao Tian shook his head and clicked his tongue, saying, "Tsk tsk, I really didn't expect that they were all cultivators. They move like the wind, stand like pines, sit like bells, and lie like bows. It's really true. No wonder he could return to the present from more than 3,100 years ago with ease. No wonder even the Chairman had to give him some respect. It turns out they are gods in the world. Elder Lan, it seems that our Earth is saved."

"Yes, indeed!" Old Lan laughed, "Our Earth is saved."

Professor Gao Tian pondered for a moment, then said, "Elder Lan, martial arts can strengthen the body and change one's physique, while cultivation can prolong life and lead to immortality. Look at us now, we're all quite old, and we don't know when we'll live. Do you think that if we become his disciples, he'll teach us those secret techniques that can prolong life?"

Hearing this, Old Lan gave a wry smile, then glanced at Professor Gao Tian and said, "Professor, actually I've had this idea for a long time. At our age, who doesn't want to live a few more years? Who doesn't cherish their life? It's just that I feel that if we just become his disciples, he might not agree to it."

Professor Gao Tian nodded and said, "That's true. This man has a lot of wives and concubines. Elder Lan, have you noticed that even other people seem to revolve around him? This shows that he must be extraordinary. I wonder what his background is."

"Speaking of which," Old Lan smiled slightly, "didn't you hear the chairman say? He used to be a member of the Shenlong Team, and his name was Falcon."

"Who? Falcon? The same Falcon, the national top assassin feared by international underworld organizations?" Professor Gao Tian exclaimed.

Old Lan nodded and said, "Yes, it's him."

“So he went to Falcon,” Professor Gao Tian said with a relieved expression. “No wonder all his missions are successful and he never fails. Elder Lan, if we had known that Falcon was a cultivator, we should have contacted him sooner.”

"Who knows!" said Old Lan. "I analyzed this Falcon before and thought he was just an ordinary person with extraordinary abilities, so I didn't pay much attention to him. If I had known earlier that he was a cultivator, I would definitely have gone to find him."

Professor Gao Tian nodded and said, "Elder Lan, what do you think our chances of success are if we become his disciples?"

Old Lan shook his head and said, "I don't know. We need to think about this carefully. The book says that cultivators are often strange people with eccentric behavior and personality. Otherwise, we would have found one all these years."

“That’s true,” Professor Gao Tian said with empathy. “These people are like that, they come and go without a trace, sigh…” As he spoke, he suddenly exclaimed and quickly said, “Old Lan, isn’t Phoenix with those extraordinary women?”

Old Lan asked, puzzled, "Yes, what's wrong?"

Professor Gao hesitated for a moment, then said, "Oh, it's nothing, I was just asking casually."

As if reading Professor Gao Tian's mind, Old Lan said, "Phoenix is my granddaughter, and I don't want to push her into a fire pit."

Professor Gao nodded and said, "I watched Phoenix grow up, and I don't want her marriage to be unhappy either."

Ancient Chronicles:

Legend has it that at the beginning of the universe, there was a primordial spirit whose spiritual apertures were just opening, gradually acquiring intelligence. At that time, there was a divine artifact of creation from the beginning of the universe in the western Kunlun Mountains. The primordial spirit unintentionally obtained this artifact, and after several lifetimes of cultivation, the primordial spirit achieved perfect merit and mastered the Dao.

This is the ancestor of all things, who calls himself the "Primordial Spirit".

At this moment, it bestowed the supreme spiritual power of this divine artifact upon four other beings, each with distinct appearances and newly awakened spiritual potential, enabling them to cultivate a different path. The eldest, Hongjun Ancestor, cultivated "Mysterious Pure Qi," the second, Hunkun Ancestor, cultivated "Mysterious Spiritual Qi," the third, Nuwa Goddess, cultivated "Mysterious Void Qi," and the fourth, Lu Ya Daojun, cultivated "Mysterious Bright Qi," which together formed "Pure, Spiritual, Void, and Bright." The four ancestors then selected those with innate wisdom from among the countless beings, taking them under their wing and establishing their own sects.

Hongjun Laozu had three great disciples: Taiqing Daode Tianzun (Taishang Laojun), Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, and Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun (Tongtian Jiaozhu).

The Ancestor of Hun Kun cultivated "Mysterious Spiritual Qi" and had countless disciples. He accepted all kinds of creatures with different appearances, such as pythons, oxen, snakes, beasts, dragons, roc lions, and monkeys.

Nuwa cultivated the "Mysterious Qi," and she could transform seventy times a day. She was naturally solitary and taciturn, but possessed a broad mind and a deep compassion for humanity. After her grand-nephew, Yuanshi Tianzun, carved out the universe with an axe, Nuwa, out of pity for the creation of the cosmos and all living beings, used water and yellow clay to create countless yin-yang clay figures in her own image. She breathed on them and placed them on the ground, and they all came to life. Later, people, grateful for Nuwa's merit in creating humankind, revered her as the Goddess Nuwa.

As for Lu Ya Daojun, as the saying goes, "Hongjun Laozu is the first immortal, and his disciple Pangu created the heavens. Hongjun came before the heavens, and Lu Ya Daojun was even before that." That means that the appearances of all later people are derived from Lu Ya Daojun.

The four disciples of the Primordial Spirit were: Hongjun Ancestor, Hunkun Ancestor, Nuwa Goddess, and Lu Ya Daojun. The first three had profound Taoist skills and merits in establishing sects, truly possessing the ability to create the world. However, the youngest junior brother, Lu Ya Daoren, was naturally mischievous and playful, never serious for a single day.

However, before the creation of heaven and earth, there was a huge hollow willow tree at the center of the universe. After the Primordial Spirit obtained the artifact of creation, he poured a wisp of spiritual energy from the artifact into the hollow willow tree. Under the influence of powerful magic, the hollow willow tree soon transformed into an immortal, known as the Great Immortal Yangmei. Thus, he was an anomaly in the universe. He was born as a Primordial Golden Immortal, three thousand years earlier than the Ancestor Hongjun. Moreover, he had no mind, so no magic weapon or spell could harm him. To be precise, nothing could hurt him.
