Chapter 108 Dinner

The afterglow of the night streamed through the window into the cozy living room. Li Yuan and Liu Xuan, along with their three children, their cat Mengmeng, and their dog Tiaotiao, returned home after a long day.

"Kids, wash your hands and get ready for dinner!" Li Yuan called out to the children loudly as she busied herself setting out the bowls and chopsticks in the kitchen.

"Coming!" Liu Qicheng rushed to the sink like a little cheetah, splashing water everywhere.

"Oh, son, are you washing your hands or playing in the water?" Liu Xuan walked over with a smile and patted Liu Qicheng on the shoulder.

"Dad, I'm giving my hands a thorough cleaning so that the food will taste better later!" Liu Qicheng winked mischievously and shook the water droplets off his hands.
